Next to third molars, maxillary canines are the most common teeth to impact. This lecture will focus on the recognition, diagnosis and management of these impactions and present a variety of cases to illustrate appropriate interventions.

About Dr. Gerry Solomon

DDS Orthodontics

Dr. Gerry Solomon DDS graduated from the University of Toronto in 1972. He did internship at the Hospital for Sick Children (Toronto) 1972-1973. He obtained his diploma in Orthodontics from the University of Toronto in 1979. He is Assistant Professor in Graduate Orthodontics at the University of Manitoba, Associate in Dentistry at the University of Toronto Graduate Orthodontic Department and Visiting lecturer and Instructor in Undergraduate Orthodontics at Dalhousie University.

 

Recipient of the University of Toronto 40-Year Service Award, served as volunteer staff orthodontist at Mount Sinai Hospital (Toronto) for 7 years. He is Past President of the Ontario Association of Orthodontists, Recipient of the Ontario Association of Orthodontists Distinguished Service Award and Past President of the Canadian Association of Orthodontists.
